McKayla Maroney hits up the E3 Gaming Convention held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Wednesday afternoon (June 12). in Los Angeles.

The 17-year-old gymnast tried out Rocksmith 2014 and Just Dance 2014 at the Ubisoft section.

“Had fun at e3 today! Too bad I couldn’t see my buddy Roy Hibbert #55,” McKayla tweeted.

Also spotted at the annual convention: Skylar Astin trying his luck out on Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Il Volo who also played Rocksmith 2014.

Last fall’s irresistible college a cappella singing competition comedy Pitch Perfect came out of nowhere to score big box office and critical raves, and now two of the film’s co-stars are looking to recreate some of that spark for TBS.

Alexis Knapp has been added as a series regular in the network’s Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town) comedy pilot Ground Floor, TBS confirms to EW. She joins her already-cast Perfect co-star Skylar Astin, who stars as a nearing-30 alpha male that, after some run-ins with his company’s tight-knit, happy-go-lucky support staff, realizes his own life isn’t as perfect as he once thought.

Knapp will play a sexy co-worker who prefers to hit the bars at night and catch up on her sleep at work.

John C. McGinley and Briga Heelan, both of whom are Lawrence alums — on Scrubs and Cougar Town, respectively — also star.

The Lawrence-created Cougar Town has proven a steady success on TBS, averaging around 2.8 million viewers per episode (live plus seven-day DVR) with 1.7 million of those in the 18-49 demographic coveted by advertisers, making it the network’s top-performing original series ever in the demo. It was enough to earn the show a renewal for a fifth season of 13 episodes.

Get ready for an aca-mazing opening to the MTV Movie Awards. Host Rebel Wilson will be joined by her fellow Barden Bellas and rival group the Treblemakers for a Pitch Perfect reunion in the opening number of the awards show.

No diggity — Wilson will be joined by Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Esther Dean, Adam Devine, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ben Platt, and Brittany Snow; there was no word yet on whether Anna Kendrick will make a surprise appearance. The film’s director Jason Moore will oversee the mashup performance.

“I could not be more thrilled for the MTV Movie Awards to be the setting for the Pitch Perfect Bella & Treblemaker reunion,” Moore said in a statement. “We have something exciting in store for the MTV audience, and I know the cast and the fans are going to really enjoy our first-ever live performance!”

Pitch Perfect is nominated for four MTV Movie Awards, including Best Female and Best Breakthrough Performances (Rebel Wilson), Best Musical Moment (Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean and Hana Mae Lee) and Best WTF Moment (Anna Camp Hack-Appella).

MTV also announced that “Thrift Shop” duo Macklemore & Lewis will perform their new single “Can’t Hold Us” at the show. The MTV Movie Awards air at 8pm ET on Sunday, April 14.
